“Say Nothing” is the latest single form UK-based band SWEARS. While their earlier tracks, spanning back to 2017, are firmly planted in the Queens of the Stone Age stoner/groove rock department, “Say Nothing” takes direct influence from 1990s DC post-hardcore like Nation of Ulysses and Fugazi. I wasn’t particularly impressed by the band’s earlier work but “Say Nothing” has been on regular rotation here at Punk in Exile headquarters (and on our Spotify Playlist). I’m curious to see what they release next.
